Our Project :

We started our project to build a new building for school children in Laxman Jhula (northern India) in January 2006. Our aim was to create a school and living quarters for 350 children and to give them the gift of basic education.
After two long years and thanks to the dedication and hard work of all those involved, we have achieved our goal: the school building and the living quarters are finishe! In October 2007 the 350 children were finally able to move into their new home and now attend school every day.
Maintenance costs for food, clothes, teachers, doctors etc. are CHF 300 per child per year. If you too are interested in sponsoring a child for a year the Priya Foundation would be extremely grateful for your donation. By supporting this project you are giving children the essentials they need to survive and the privilege of an education they deserve.




Thanks to a generous donation we were able to provide in summer 2012 a school rooom with computers.
